TED X
These are my artworks for @tedxvicenza SPRINTS – Artists for Climate event .
SPRINTS is a creative bootcamp, developed by Fine Acts – a global studio for social impact.
In SPRINTS visual artists have 48 hours to develop and produce a visual artwork on a specific issue.
The topic of SPRINTS – Artists for Climate edition, is climate change and solutions to the climate crisis.
All works will be published under a specific open license, so that activists and nonprofits globally can use them in their future campaign work on climate change.
I created this artwork starting from the concept of a terrarium as a metaphor for the Earth, a closed ecosystem that requires care and attention. In the first work, I depicted the concept of 'Planet before profit. In this scenario, two figures dressed as business executives take care of the nature around them, emphasizing the importance of protecting the Earth rather than mere financial profit.
Thanks to all the TED Vicenza team for the amazing organization and hospitality!
