La Via Francigena
The Via Francigena is an ancient pilgrimage route that connects Canterbury to Jerusalem, passing through Rome and crossing various historic cities along the way. Today, it is a popular trail for hikers and pilgrims, rich in history and culture. This project focuses mainly on the Piedmontese cities along the Via Francigena.
